The all-new Karizma XMR is the flagship model for Hero, and it introduces a number of industry firsts. It is the successor to the OG icon, the Hero Karizma, which played an important role in reviving the leisure bicycling industry in India and offering it at a price range that was reasonable.
The cost:
The Hero Karizma XMR has a standard price tag of Rs 1,82,900 (all of which are ex-showroom India prices), and it also has an introductory price tag of Rs 1,72,900. There are three color options to choose from, and they are as follows: Iconic Yellow, Matte Phantom Black, and Turbo Red. The refundable booking token is 3,000 rupees and may be paid now.
Speciality
The all-new Karizma XMR comes standard with an LCD instrument console that has Bluetooth connectivity as well as navigation that provides turn-by-turn directions. Additionally, it comes with an illuminated switchgear that has a luxury appearance. Dual LED projector headlights are included in the headlamp configuration, and they are encircled by H-shaped LED daytime running lights. The motorbike has dual-channel anti-lock braking system as standard equipment, which is a first for a Hero production bike. In addition to that, the windshield is movable, which is a feature that has not previously been seen in this market sector. It is anticipated that the elevated clip-on handlebars would make the bike comfortable enough for touring purposes.
Drivetrain
:
imposing and potent The new Hero flagship motorbike has an all-new 210cc, DOHC, 4-valve liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 25.5PS at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. This is a first for a Hero bike. Because of this, the motorcycle has a higher maximum power output than both the KTM RC 200 and the Bajaj Pulsar RS200. It is equipped with a slipper and assist clutch in addition to a 6-speed gearbox as standard.
Braking and Suspension Systems
At the front, there is a telescopic fork, and at the back, there is a gas-charged monoshock with a 6-step adjustable preload. Both of these components are responsible for suspension tasks. However, given that the hero Xtreme 160R 4V now comes equipped with a USD fork, the Karizma XMR is noticeably lacking in this particular feature.
The front brakes are 300 millimeters in diameter and are equipped with an axial caliper. The rear brakes measure 230 millimeters in diameter and both have petal discs. The Karizma XMR is the first Hero bike to include a steel trellis frame, and it also comes equipped with a box-section swingarm. The wheelbase is 1,351 millimeters, the seat height measures 810 millimeters, the ground clearance measures 160 millimeters, and the kerb weight is 163.5 kg. 11 liters is the maximum capacity of the gasoline tank.
The Competition:
The brand-new Hero Karizma XMR will compete with motorcycles such as the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. The KTM RC 200 will serve as a more sporty alternative to these two motorcycles.
