Taylor Swift leads the nominations for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.
There is a good chance that Taylor Swift will soon become the artist with the most awards in the history of the MTV Video Music Awards.
She is tied for first place with seven nominations for the music video for her song “Anti-Hero,” and she also received one nomination for “artist of the year.”
At the moment, Swift has 14 Video Music wins, putting her in third place after Beyoncé (16 wins) and Madonna (20 awards).
Beyoncé is also a candidate for the award of Artist of the Year.
The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards will be held on September 12, and 35 of the nominees will be first-time nominees. This includes Petras, Metro Boomin’, Rema, with each of their three nominations.
The Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, will host the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. The new best Afrobeats category is one of 15 gender-neutral categories open for fan vote on Tuesday, August 28 through Friday, September 1.
