Arsenal vs Crystal Palace (1-0) | Premier League

Martin Odegaard, the captain of Arsenal, scored from the penalty spot to give his team a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday.

Takehiro Tomiyasu was sent off for two yellow cards, leaving the guests with only 10 players.
Arsenal ruled the first half, and they did the same thing at the beginning of the second half. They got a prize for their hard work when Gabriel Martinelli took a quick free kick and sent Eddie Nketiah behind the Palace defense, where he was brought down by Sam Johnstone.
However, just a few moments after taking the lead, Takehiro Tomiyasu was cautioned for wasting time when taking a throw-in and received a yellow card as a result.
Shortly after that, he pulled on the shirt of Jordan Ayew, who was faster than him at the time, and then he received a second yellow card and was sent off the field.

Because Palace now had an extra player, they quickly gained the upper hand in terms of possession, and the game began to tilt in their favor.
After using his skill to dribble into the area, Eberechi Eze found himself in a position where he was wedged by Declan Rice and Thomas Partey. Although he was down on the ground, referee David Coote continued to play the game.
