Donald Trump pleads not guilty to 2020 election charges.

Former President Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty after entering a Washington courtroom to answer charges that he used “illegal tactics” to break the results of the 2020 presidential election.
The indictment accuses Trump of conspiring to defraud the United States; conspiracy to obstruct government prosecutions; barrier prevention; conspiracy against the right to vote, and vote counting.
Trump appeared before Chief Justice Moxila A. Upadhyay in E. Barrett Prettyman Court. The trial began at 4:15 p.m. ET and took less than 30 minutes.The next court date is August 28th.
Trump also faces charges in a separate lawsuit filed by special counsel Jack Smith, who accused him of misusing state secrets after leaving the White House. Additionally, the Manhattan district attorney indicted the former president earlier this year over a silent payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election Trump denied wrongdoing on all counts{source ANI }.
